The Qiyeyanxiang Inn is in Sixi Village, located inside the Sixi Yancun Scenic Area of Sikou Town, which is 13 km from Wuyuan County. The Sixi Village is a famous historic village known for its landmark, the lounge bridge called "Tongji Bridge" at the village entrance. It also takes pride in its splendid ancient architectural complex. The Qiyeyanxiang Inn is one of these old mansions in the village. The 200-year-old mansion is well preserved with lots of elaborate carvings, and it was named from the plaque "Qiyeyanxiang" presented by Emperor Daoguang in Qing Dynasty, which was a reward to the harmonious Yu family having five generations living together. The mansion was reconstructed to be a inn from Year 2014 by Xiangdong Fan, who was previously an art teacher for decades. He designed and led the reconstruction and displayed all the artwork in the inn, hoping to provide a peaceful, artistic place to live for people who love the old mansion. Besides the fabulous classic design, here you need to say goodbye to your modern life. Free wifi and bathroom facilities in your cosy room, together with our intimate service.
